Is this the first time the Dolphins have worn these orange uniforms?

I remember they wore an alternate orange jersey (with white pants) since 2009, but never the orange-on-orange. This "color rush" is irritating.

I like it. I also like that the Bengals are wearing numbers without a silly shadow effect.

Really? I don't mind the Bengals, because almost anything is an improvement, but the Dolphins monochromatic orange is a joke and an embarrassment to the league.

It seems to be the Thursday games where they test out these weird single color uniforms, such as last season when they had the Bills and Jets in those solid red and green uniforms. It was also a Thursday night game last year when they had the Bucs in solid red vs the Rams in that solid metallic gold in the infamous ketchup-mustard game. I'm not exactly a purist, but I'd like to find out the reason for these unusual uniforms and who is responsible and get a lawyer to send out a Cease and Desist letter. It can't be to gin up sales of these new jerseys, there just isn't that much of a niche market given the high cost of jerseys.

Yeah. These unis are actually a VAST improvement over what the Bengals normally wear. Every other "color rush" I've seen the last year or so though is hideous.

Rupert, the Thursday night "color rash" ( a much better name than the official "color rush") uniforms are absolutely designed to "gin up" sales. Sports team apparel is much, much more than just a niche market.

I enjoyed the Rams all yellow look last year.

I also liked the Jets whites worn in Week 2. The white face masks and the white shoes with the white uniforms is a good look.

I don't know that it is really an embarrassment to the league. Maybe it is, though.
