Before moving into the Silverdome (which, of course, I and I'm sure most of us wish they never did), what are some wintry Lions contests at Tiger worthy of mention whether it be temperature and/or precipitation?

The 1969 Thanksgiving game against the Vikings was one-sided in favor of Minnesota, but was a pretty good snapshot of how dominant the Vikes were on defense for that year.

The 11-7-43 game vs the Giants was played in mud.

The 11-28-68 game vs the Eagles was played in fog and mud.

There were snow flurries during the Thanksgiving Day game vs Denver in 1974.

When was the game against the Vikings when Jim Marshall and Alan Page combined on a fumble return for a TD? That game was full of snow and mud, the Vikings numbers' on the uniforms were imposible to distinguish.

That was the aforementioned 1969 game.

The 1968 game had the Eagles entering the game winless at 0-11, and the scoring was uniquely symmetrical. The Eagles kicked one field goal in every quarter to win 12-0.
