If the Colts hadn't traded Hendricks away in 1974, do you think having Hendricks at LLB instead of Tom Macleod/Derrel Luce would have been enough for the Colts to break through the Steelers/Raiders stranglehold on the AFC? Had they played the Ghost to the Post game against the Raiders in 1977 with Hendricks instead of against Hendricks, would the outcome been different?

Hendricks' blocked punt midway through the third quarter set up the score that put the Radiers back up, 21-17. Without that blocked punt, maybe the Raiders come up short. Still, I think that was the Broncos' year (in the AFC) anyway, so Denver would have had an easier time facing the Colts a week later.

Also, the Raiders have a tougher time winning SB's in 1980 and 83 without Hendricks.
