Yes, it IS 31. Who in here DARES to do so?? It's going to be so tough for me, but once I actually am able to get it done, I'm sure my list won't be as good as most.
Anyways, here are all 31 of them in order of when each won their first (and, perhaps, only)...
1) Vince Lombardi
2) Weeb Ewbank
3) Hank Stram
4) Don McCafferty
5) Tom Landry
6) Don Shula
7) Chuck Noll
8) John Madden
9) Tom Flores
10) Bill Walsh
11) Joe Gibbs
12) Mike Ditka
13) Bill Parcells
14) George Seifert
15) Jimmy Johnson
16) Barry Switzer
17) Mike Holmgren
18) Mike Shanahan
19) Dick Vermeil
20) Brian Billick
21) Bill Belichick
22) Jon Gruden
23) Bill Cowher
24) Tony Dungy
25) Tom Coughlin
26) Mike Tomlin
27) Sean Payton
28) Mike McCarthy
29) John Harbaugh
30) Pete Carroll
31) Gary Kubiak
This will be tough! All 31 of them Greats! But someone has to, sadly, be placed (or maybe tied with others) at #31. And looking at all of these, that'll be tough!

I'd agree with Billick at #30. Brought in as an offensive coach just two years earlier, it was the Ravens' defense that won SB 35. After that, his collective record was 61-55, including a 1-3 postseason record. He hasn't (presumably) gotten any HC offers since getting fired after the 2007 season.

Ouch - I forgot to include someone! It's 31, not 30. I guess that should automatically place him #31 on my list whether I want to or not.

Kind of an interesting trivia...which SB-winning coach is missing? I figured it out because he should have made my bottom 5 list...I don't know how I didn't catch it originally.

Here are mine. Well thought out enough but may end up regretting where I placed some of them. I'm sure some will be quite unpopular. #1 a combo of feeling it's sacrilege not to place him there and me feeling he simply does deserve it. Yes, I lean more to the former. #2-thru-#4 I felt like making a tie but would have seemed like a cop-out. Forced myself to be as unbiased as possible. Walsh & Hoodie had less Pro Bowlers at their disposal albeit Noll doing rather fine in the '80s with what he had. Noll DID create the whole winning culture despite the franchise being deep-rooted in losing the four prior decades and made them a playoff team in 'Year 4' with the Dynasty beginning just two seasons after that! Yes, plenty of talent, but was able to coach all those personalities into that ever-Historic run! Noll was 2-1 head-to-head vs Walsh! All three of those contests, mind you, Forty Niners being the better team. It's very difficult to place Noll over Belichick so I won't. And I'm not going to hold 'Spygate' against Hoodie.
