It looks brown to me, but I thought that any helmet changes they may have been considering were in the past by 1967.MatthewToy wrote:It could be a brown helmet but looks dark orange to me.
Yes, but the artwork was always orange with brown logo ... they got it wrong on game (or maybe there was talk of it going another way before it was finally rejected)BD Sullivan wrote:1965 was the supposed year that they were considering the CB logo, though it was never actually used.
Totally agree on both the Browns and the Steelers. Frankly, I think that the Packers, the Vikings, the Chiefs, the Giants and the Eagles could all get away with having no logos on their helmets.74_75_78_79_ wrote:Good thing Browns never did go to that logo and clearly hope - and strongly assume - they would never think of adding anything at this point. Thank God Steelers didn't have enough stickers to place on both sides thus allowing them to see how one on one side would look for the time being. I would really like to see an NFL team have a helmet with nothing on either side but (jersey) numbers like Alabama or old-school Penn State. Not saying it has to be a team already established but maybe the next expansion team (whenever that is) dares to not have a helmet logo but do just that. That would be cool.
Maybe the Giants, but the Vikes and Eagles ... seriously??Mark L. Ford wrote:Totally agree on both the Browns and the Steelers.
