Just curious...why doesn't the PFHOF release the names of the 15 or so Senior Finalists in the PFHOF? I mean, I'm not sure what they have to lose by releasing this info.

About 4 years ago, I saw this info leaked here on this board back when it was on the old board, but I haven't been seeing it in recent years. I mean, I'm in no way trying to vent over that, because I realize this info is hard to get. However, I just don't see what the NFL has to lose by releasing this info, like they have been doing the contributors, because releasing the Senior Candidates info would make things easy for us all.

To me, it does not make sense. They have no trouble releasing all of the cuts for the modern era candidates. Why have a different philosophy for the seniors?

I agree with you 100% Mr. Crippen. Maybe we should e-mail the PFHOF and tell them they should start doing this, though it may not do any good.

Does anyone know where I can get PFHOF Modern Era preliminary lists prior to 1998?
