I like the idea of a stadium as part of the HOF complex, but It's a problem to have a concert there one day, and on the next day the HOF ceremonies, and then a football game the following day. MLB used to have a Hall of Fame exhibition game as part of their induction ceremonies, but did away with that a few years back. I would hate to see the NFL do likewise, perhaps they need to come up with a different venue for the HOF ceremonies (Does Canton have some sort of auditorium/civic center that could host it?) and they should no longer have concerts there. Randy Moss was right, somebody should lose his or her job over choosing the wrong paint for the field. It was an embarrassment for the league and the NFL has to take steps to ensure it does not happen again, especially after Tom Benson poured hundreds of millions of dollars into the stadium to get his name on it. The NFL needs the Hall of Fame game.

The Canton Civic Center hosts some of the weekend events, but the capacity is only 5,200.

They could certainly move the induction ceremony there. However, it would mean less fans and less money. Therefore, they can't move it there.

There's still four weeks of scintillating and profound exhibition, oops, I mean pre-season games to entertain us.

Out my way, the Pittsburgh Steelers will scrimmage the Detroit Lions twice and then play them in a real, live, honest-to-goodness exhibition, oops, I mean pre-season game.

That's the game where season ticket holders pay regular season prices to watch ... a third scrimmage.

Not sure what's going on in Pittsburgh but my Redskins season tickets arrived this week. Surprise, surprise, the face value ticket cost of the 2 home preseason games have been lowered to $44 dollars. My tickets normal face value is $94. So I'm not paying regular season prices to watch.

Strangely the face value of the 8 regular season games have increased while my total cost for season tickets has not changed. Hmmmm. I wonder why?
