2015: Texans VS Redskins

Let's go way back to these two 9-7 one-and-done division-winners. Neither played each other. Who's better?

On one hand, the Texans had better wins (Jets + Bengals). OTOH, Washington was hotter down the stretch and played better in their postseason defeat.

I'll give the Redskins a slight edge because it seemed like Cousins did more to help the Redskins whereas Houston seemed to basically pull games out with the QB's not doing a lot.

Washington.

Houston had a myriad of injuries, particularly at QB and to JJ Watt. Washington had a brilliant year. Nobody thought they would make the playoffs, led by their unsung hero at QB, Kirk Cousins.
