Just curious when will the Pro Football Hall of Fame announce the dates of the senior and contributor nominees? Who has the best shot of being the senior and contributor finalists for 2017?

The third week in August is usually when they do the seniors. Not sure about contributors.

One selector has told me he likes Slater. They may go safety with Robinson or Easley. They may go linebacker with Brazile or Gradishar.

Of course, Wistert and Hill died recently, so one of them may get the nod.

Thanks for the info, Ken. All names mentioned would be great choices, certainly better than last year's.
