It took awhile to locate this novelty song from December 1980, but some folks might remember hearing this on the radio. The would be Clement Clark Moore in this instance was an act called "Willis 'The Guard' and Vigorish", the first release from the duo of "Buckner and Garcia" that struck gold a couple of years later with "Pac Man Fever".

Good stuff, Mark. But I have concerns.
Admitting you’ve dipped your toe into the cultural wasteland known as YouTube exposes you as a fraud and a huckster, not worthy to grace these pages. I fully expect the incoming regime to cleanse our palate of this nonsense.
Of course, that means we’ll have to forget about watching all the sanctioned NFL content on there (yep, sanctioned means the NFL put it there) no matter how entertaining, or hidden gems like the second half of NBC’s 1972 AFC Championship telecast.
Or hell, Larry Bird hanging 60 on the Atlanta Hawks for that matter. After all, what kind of dodo head wants to watch Larry Bird in his prime?
The above comments were written with tongue planted firmly in cheek, of course.
I do have a bone to pick with you, though. It took me a couple decades to get the unpleasant melody of “Pac Man Fever” out of my head, and now here it is again. It’s driving me, driving me, driving me crazy….

That really was a horrible song-- apparently, they slapped together an entire album of video game themed songs, and if that was the cream of the crop, I can only imagine what the rest of them were like. On the basis of how long you stand to listen to a novelty song before you have to turn it off, the NFL Christmas song was far better-- I could tolerate it for almost two minutes, which was about 90 seconds longer than Pac Man.mwald wrote: I do have a bone to pick with you, though.
