Steeler fans remember beating the Patriots and Eagles in back to back games in 2004. I'm watching the 1974 Oilers highlights and they lost to the Steelers and Vikings in back to back games. Any other instances of this happening?

The 1971 Bills played the Dolphins and Cowboys in weeks 2 and 3.
The Raiders played the Vikings and Dolphins to start the 1973 season.
In 1974 the Saints played Pittsburgh and Minnesota in consecutive weeks as did the aforementioned Oilers.
In 1975 Green Bay played Pittsburgh and Dallas back to back, as did Kansas City.
Chicago played the Raiders and Vikings in consecutive weeks in 1976.
The Rams played Cincinnati and San Francisco back to back in 1981.
The Redskins played Miami and San Francisco in the first two weeks of the 1984 season. The Steelers and Oilers also played the Dolphins and 49ers back to back.
In 1985, the Colts faced off against New England and Chicago back to back.
Seattle and Washington both played Denver and the Giants on consecutive weeks in 1986.
Miami played the Bills and Giants back to back in 1990, as did the Eagles.
I just did thru 1990 so this isn't as uncommon as one would think.

One quirky stat from that year: the 5-11 Browns were the only team to beat both Cincy and SF that year.
