Saw that Buffalo played in their old school '60s helmets which, of course, I respect being that they're the originals, but my preference is the pre-Kay unis they had late-'70s/early-'80s that Fergie and Cribbs wore during their playoff years.
And what was WITH Cleveland's??

I had not seen these 49ers uniforms before, but they look like throwback Bears uniforms from the 50's, only without the white trim.

Cleveland looks to be trying to emulate a div II college team.
I like the Bills throwbacks, but the blue jerseys

look so much better than the white on white. If they do the throwbacks, I just wish they'd do the ones from the 1965 AFL Championship game.

That's probably the best way to describe them.
Didn't like SF's BFBS uniforms (though I like Tomsula - was a great sideline soundbite in NFL Europ(e/a) - so I'm happy for him that he won his first game.)
Thought it was cool Buffalo went with the 'throwback' helmet.

Exactly. Why mess with a classic.
Those 49ers alternates need to be burned immediately, if not sooner.

I hadn't caught their opening game on TV, but those uniforms really do look awful--

With the sleeve stripes that run across the front of the jersey (makes them look bigger maybe?), the orange block numbers and the reminder that the team represents "CLEVELAND", these look more like a homemade Halloween costume. Or a semipro club called the Cleveland Stripe. Let's hope that they don't put the Brownie logo on the helmet. I agree, stick to the classic look.

You forgot the pants, they also have "CLEVELAND" in the lower end of the sides instead of the stripes.
I wonder what true fans like these atrocities. As for the 49ers black unis, the number and names in red were barely noticed, and it was annoying to figure which player was whom.

I've long wondered that myself.

San Francisco's unis were ridiculous and disgusting but at least they're alternates that will only be worn a couple of times. Cleveland, on the other hand, is going to look like shite every week. Who are the morons that actually approve these abominations and how did they get their jobs???
