Bart Starr's Continuing Battle Back from Near Death

About a year ago I was talking with a friend of my wife's who lives near the Starrs in Birmingham, and when I asked about Bart she said, "It doesn't look good."
I guess this shouldn't surprise me. The man's been defying the odds his whole life.
