On the old PFRA Forum, during a discussion on some of the most and least exciting seasons, one thing I remember being heard about the 1977 season is that there was one week that was referred to as Big Play Sunday.

Can someone get me up to speed on this, but it seems like there was one day where we had a boatload of huge offensive yardage plays.

Later that season (Week 9) was Quarterback Injury Sunday, when at least four QB'S were finished for the season--Tarkenton, Sipe and Dickey and I believe Bill Munson.
