Might be an easy one, but will ask it. Les Richter is unique among HoF-ers for what non-trade-based reason?

Because he never played for the team that drafted him because they folded before the season started.

Probably true, but that wasn't what I had in mind.

He has the same last name as Pat Richter, a claim no other Hall of Famer can make, as far as I know.

Can't think of another HOF'er who was #48 ... or #67 for that matter.

Reply from yesterday disappeared, so am reposting.
Correct! Several HoF-ers wore a jersey number not worn by another Hall member, but Richter is the only one to wear two such numbers.

Reposting from yesterday as original disappeared from thread.
Had asked:
-what do HoF-ers Ted Hendricks, Steve Van Buren, Tom Fears, and Ernie Stautner have in common? Oldecapecod correctly replied that all were born outside the US.
-name the 12 US states where no HoF-ers have been born (6 each east and west of the Mississippi River). Oldecapecod correctly got all but one -- answer is Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware, North Dakota, Iowa, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii.
Will repost the other trivia questions asked but not answered yet in separate thread.

In Truth, oldecapecod only got seven. He had to try again to get nine.
And, the OP was kind enough NOT to mention, on his second attempt, he was dumb enough to name an erroneous one again.
(But... maybe that is in keeping with the incompetence of the past year and a half or so. It will not be "right" until KC rules.)
