Hey Guys,
Please refresh my memory. How many postseason touchdowns does Franco Harris have in his career? Is whatever amount he has an NFL record? Thanks!
Sincerely,
Joe Zagorski

You can find out in seconds by consulting Pro Football Reference. The number was 17, 16 rushing and one from a pass. The latter was the Immaculate Reception.

Emmitt Smith had 21 playoff TD's. After a quick search I found the record is 22, by Jerry Rice.

I'm pretty sure Franco Harris held the record for many years before Thurman Thomas broke it, which then got broken by Smith then Rice.

Franco set the record in Dec. 1978 with his 11th playoff TD, and kept improving on it until January, 1980 with his 17th. Jerry tied it in the 1994 season, then Thomas tied then broke it in the 1995 season. Smith tied Thomas in the Super Bowl that year. Then next season, both of them scored two touchdowns in the first round of the playoffs on the same day, Dec. 28, 1996. But Thurman had the morning game, while the Cowboys played in the afternoon. Jerry ultimately broke the record in the Super Bowl against Tampa.
