I didn't click the link, so maybe a 2nd team or "others receiving votes" are noted, but the 1st team looks pretty good. It matches a lot of guys I selected to my personal all-NFL team. Not sure if anybody is interested in my own list. I'll post it here if there is any sort of demand.

No second team was chosen .. . and yes, would like to see your team

It is interesting that they chose 3 wide receivers and no fullback, which is something Michael David Smith wrote about, but I think he is one of the "AP only" guys so it will be interesting if Sporting News gets some praise for choosing an alignment he prefers to the AP lineup.

They did it with the annoying "slideshow" (thanks to John for typing out the list), there was no vote totals listed.

I like what they did at center (i.e. not Pouncey) ...

Not sure why there is 12 offensive players and 11 defensive players? Either way, I've always believed that there should just be 11 since that's how many are on the field. I don't want to overstate it by saying it's sacred or anything, but there's 11 men on the field for a team, always been important to me.

Key thing about Sporting News is it really took the place of the NEA All-Pro team which was purported to be the "Player's All-Pro Team".

"Sporting News o polled players — along with coaches and executives — around the league to see which of their peers were worthiest of being named the best at their position for the 2014 season."

It's the one I look forward to most every year, and it's the one that gets the least amount of attention. For example, the Seahawks 'official' sites, for the AP and PFWA there was immediate stories and 'alerts' for the Seattle players who were selected. So far, nothing for Sporting News selections. To be fair, that could be because of the 'slightly' more important news of the Super Bowl, but - going off memory so I could be wrong - I believe it was the same in previous years. For the general public/people with any sort of interest they're all aware of the AP team, the PFWA team gets some attention and the SN team gets very little to no attention.

Which is the exact opposite of how I personally view it. Of course it's a case-by-case thing and every year is different, but a majority of the time I'de rank them SN, PFWA then AP, as far as quality of selections. I guess to each is their own, but at a minimum it'd be nice if they were given somewhat equal attention, by the media/public.

This year's All-Pro choices seem fairly cut-and-dry. Not too many surprises.

Robert Quinn seems a bit of a reach.

...combined with the fact that the entire Bills defensive line got snubbed.
