Is there a 2014 list? With the change in websites, etc, it does not seem the Obits are complete for 2014 . . .
is the a good place to look that I can send him to?

Many thanks. I had the one from Jeff Nixon, but not ours. I want the PFRA to get a shout out by King if possible. Ken, thanks (although could you resend?)

In today's
Monday Morning Quarterback column at
Sports Illustrated.com, King lists the passing of 13 notable figures (players, coaches and contributors) from pro football this year:

I don't see a mention of the PFRA (or any other source) for the list.
I like that King mentioned former Pittsburgh scout Bill Nunn as one of the notables. Nunn was instrumental in the Steelers finding and drafting players from historically black colleges and universities, helping them build a dynasty in the 1970s. The Steelers honored Nunn earlier this year by naming the draft room at team headquarters after him.

One of our members, Rupert perhaps, posted a link to a wonderful article written about Bill Nunn in the previous forum that the directors chose not to save.
Maybe we can get lucky and that poster saved the thread and will repost it? It was well-written and truly insightful and included a number of kudos by some of the Steelers FO personnel. Again, it is sad that so little attention was given to such fine stories.
