Stanford Stadium and Super Bowl XIX

Hey Guys:

Is the current Stanford Stadium (where Stanford University plays their home games) the same Stanford Stadium that was the site of Super Bowl XIX? It looks to me that the current stadium has far less stands than what the capacity was for Super Bowl XIX.

Current Stanford Stadium seats 50K. The old stadium could fit 85K. The new second deck & removal of the track makes it a much more intimate venue. Hardly ever filled the old stadium, so it lacked energy.
