Hey Guys:
The 1970 AFC Title Game was played in Baltimore between the Colts and the Raiders. In that game, Oakland quarterback Daryle Lamonica suffered an injury before halftime and was out of the game. George Blanda replaced him. Does anyone know for sure what type of injury Lamonica sustained? I looked through many sources and could not find the answer. Please help if you can. Thanks!
Sincerely,

Re: 1970 AFC Title Game Question
In a book I have it says that Lamonica pulled a thigh muscle early in the second quarter because of a hard hit by Bubba Smith and left the game.
