Grover Klemmer, an official (head linesman, back judge and side judge) from 1963-1981, died August 23. He was 94 years old.

Longtime baseball broadcaster Gene Elston died on Saturday, but his obituary (and HOF bio--as a Ford Frick winner) notes that he did radio for the Cleveland Rams, though I'm not sure if it was 1944-45 or just 1945, since it merely notes that he left the Navy in 1944.

Tyler Sash, who played with the Giants in 2011-12 and was on the SB-winning team in 2011 has died at the age of 27:

Richard Williamson, who was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from parts of 1990 and the whole 1991 season, and also an assistant coach for the Chiefs, Buccaneers and Panthers (where he stayed for 16 seasons), died today in Charlotte at the age of 74.
