1983 AFC Wild Card: Seahawks 31, Broncos 7
The first half ended with the Seahawks up by a score of 10-7, and that's because the Broncos had two key turnovers:
1. An INT by Kerry Justin with the Broncos on the Seattle 29 yard line (score was tied 7-7) early in the second quarter.
2. With around 2:00 left in the first half, and with the Broncos on the Seattle four yard line, Gerald Willhite fumbled, and Paul Moyer recovered at the Seattle five (score was 10-7 Seahawks).
The Seahawks did extend the lead to 17-7 in the third quarter, but they went for it on 4th and 1 at the Denver 20 on the last play of the third quarter (instead of kicking a FG that would have made it 20-7). After converting that 4th and 1, they scored to make it 24-7, then got one more TD that led to the final score.
Also, after it was 31-7, Elway came in and led two drives that got inside the Seattle five. One ended on a Gregg Johnson INT, and the other ended on downs.
