into November and not a single announcement from Hall on any results including no preliminary list, no semifinalist lists for any of the three groups (players, coaches, contributors), I know Hall started about a month behind this election as not having all voters and committees set until end of Sept, but does it also mean in a response to public debates and criticism directed at Hall in recent years via social media including this forum-highlighted by the disaster that was the 2026 class results - that the Hall has decided to become less transparent, report little and say nothing about elections???

Makes one wonder if that is in fact the case....

Not surprising. Porter is not known for taking criticism well.

The Hall did release a short video yesterday going over the new election process, including interviews with staff and former voter Peter King (weird that they choose not to interview current voter), so perhaps thats a precuser of upcoming announcements???

Peter King was promoting his new book on the HOF Radio Show last week, so it was an easy get. They probably recorded it at the same time. He also has the street cred, since he was a selector for so long.
