Talk about a fall from grace from Rypien. Not that I ever thought he was all that good but playing for Gibbs, behind the Redskins usual good O-Line sure did help...but by 1993 Rypien had faded into oblivion. By 1994 he was almost totally forgotten.

I remember seeing him on the sidelines in the early 2000s with the Colts wondering whatever the hell happened to him, how did this guy resurface!? :shock: Of course with Peyton he was not likely to get under center much (if at all)

What's remarkable is that Manning "led" the Broncos to a Super Bowl win the year he was the league's worst QB.
