Talk about a fall from grace from Rypien. Not that I ever thought he was all that good but playing for Gibbs, behind the Redskins usual good O-Line sure did help...but by 1993 Rypien had faded into oblivion. By 1994 he was almost totally forgotten.
I remember seeing him on the sidelines in the early 2000s with the Colts wondering whatever the hell happened to him, how did this guy resurface!?
Of course with Peyton he was not likely to get under center much (if at all)

What's remarkable is that Manning "led" the Broncos to a Super Bowl win the year he was the league's worst QB.
