That's rather weak; and perhaps the most deceitful act ever posted here or anywhere.
But, based on the level of intelligence, it is not surprising.
A man would offer his own opinion rather than forge and falsify the words of another.
You must have a special place in the hearts of the moderators to allow you to change the wording of a poster's statement.
Rather Goodell-ish, it appears.

Taking Roger's word on it, huh? Oh, of course it was just an innocent misunderstanding. Just like the last time it happened. And the time before that. And the time before...

Only a fool would assume that.

"ESPN reporters planning follow-up stories on Patriots, Deflategate:"

Meanwhile, the goodfella and his little circus continues to retreat.
The espn clowns can tie their stories in with the Patsies Super Bowl previews.

Without a mention of the Patsies or Brady and his balls, The New York Post tells you WHY anything espn "investigates"
is about as newsworthy as a limp wrist in a handshake contest.
Maybe the goodfella can play the lead in a new sitcom "Last Man Watching?"

"Monday, starting with morning coffee, every stop at ESPN found the network and its sports experts espousing not only senselessness, but often ESPN’s continued, front-and-center service to the destruction of sports as it rots from the inside out."

Just as we were thinking it was over, here we go some more...

There's a great line in this article mentioning when the goodfella has to present the Super Bowl MVP trophy to Truthful Tom.
Ya gotta luv it...

Who knows if the "early as Feb. 1st" date will stay or not, but when I saw that the other day I just laughed and rolled my eyes.

'Convenient' for the NFL that "deflategate" could be the story during Super Bowl week, again. Whether NE would be in the SB or not, it would "sell". People eat this stuff up, the networks are happy and the NFL doesn't care about how it looks as long as it's in the news. Ridiculous.

This clown show should have been over within an hour of the AFC Championship ending - if not well before then - but of course it isn't. Goodell's incompetence and asinine manufactured controversies, sell.

Its about the TEAM

Post by JuggernautJ »

In the first place, I can't agree that the Patriots have won with only average talent.
But I'll let you take up that argument with Randy Moss.

It may be that the majority of their players had only average (or slightly above) physical attributes.
But it may also be that they had above average heart, intelligence and all the intangibles that go into making a great team great.

I've played on teams that didn't have the "talent" of our opponents and we steamrolled them into oblivion because we were (by far) the better team.

One can build a superior team by concentrating on things other than just raw physical talent.
The Patriots have done such a good job at this that they've been among the best teams in the NFL for over a decade.

And I'm no Patriots fan, either.
Though I've come to appreciate what they've accomplished.

Too few understand or have experienced.

Plus, it's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog.
