They're gonna have to play a first-place schedule, but with a healthy defense I can see them going 11-6, 12-5, something like that, in 2025. They have a young nucleus, everybody seems to be in sync--owner, GM, Campbell--and the players remain hungry after 2 tough endings. And they've gained experience. Frankly, I'd rather they not have the pressure of being a top seed. I've often worried about bye teams having 2 weeks between games; their game rhythms just always seems to be a little off, which in the playoffs often is fatal.
Anyway, I truly believe at some point the Lions will get over the hump. Just hope I'm still alive when it happens.
