I salute the endorsements of the BRP, they swung for the fences. Its up to voters to do the right thing and put all these senior candidates in. Tyrer belongs in this Hall Of Fame ... DO IT VOTERS!

Tyrer being a finalist the first year anyone dared to speak his name is wild. Why now? What prompted the about-face?

BRP basically testing the waters for him since he is the most qualified. Still, it hurts more of a safer pick like Jacoby or Kenn.
Ken Anderson has to be going crazy because he gets so close.

It really wouldnt surprise me if Holmgren and Sharpe go into the HOF together, which is somewhat ironic that Holmgren and Ron Wolf cut loose of Sharpe after his neck injury in 1994. The Packers had to do it of course but many people felt that the team was rather cold about it rather than try to keep him on the roster in case he considered, trying to rehab the injury and keep on playing.

Hindsight is of couse 20/20 and the injury was very serious but had the Packers kept him anyway and perhaps been more hopeful about Sterling wanting to rehab and play again, like Alex Smith later with the Redskins--would Sharpe have considered doing it?*

*He had the injury against Atlanta in 1994 but still played the following week against the Buccaneers, where despite a great game with three TDs, he reaggravated the injury. The Packers needed the win but had he stayed on the bench after his third TD with a commanding 28-6 lead ... could he have gotten through the postseason? Could he have rehabbed in the projected eight month period and kept playing?

Oh, the what-ifs ...

Brian im a Def Yes on Tyrer Baughan and Sharpe most likley they hopefully put in all three more likier outcome is we get baughan and sharpe i have my doubts about holmgren
