Not as good as Rypien when they beat the Lions in the 1991 season Championship.Brian wolf wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 5:43 pm Jeez ... Kilmer was that good? No wonder Redskins fans still celebrate that win ... haha
Re: Conference Championship Game Trivia
That was one day when Kilmer's wounded ducks kept finding their target. The closer you look at that game, the more reasonable it seems that bettors favored them over Miami.Brian wolf wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 5:43 pm Jeez ... Kilmer was that good? Re: Conference Championship Game Trivia
Yep, bad game for Watters, with Landry benching Adderley. I didnt realize Rypien played that well against Detroit.
Thanks for this thread, SeahawkFever ... it made me appreciate what Lovie Smith did more with the Bears. If only Jay Cutler wasnt so jittery in the pocket. I liked watching Forte. Its hard to believe that this Bears team didnt do more with Forte, Knox--who got hurt--Hester, Olsen, Marshall and Jeffery.

Bryan does a great job on these trivia quizzes ... sometimes, nobody has the right answer, I am sure he'll have another Super Bowl edition?

Re: Conference Championship Game Trivia
Could it be argued that Rypien had one of the best Super Bowl winning seasons by a quarterback who is generally considered among the worst to win a Super Bowl?CSKreager wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:48 amRypien was the epitome of 15 minutes of fameSonny9 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 7:01 amNot as good as Rypien when they beat the Lions in the 1991 season Championship.Brian wolf wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 5:43 pm Jeez ... I’m talking about guys like Rypien, Hostetler, Dilfer, Brad Johnson, etc?
