PFRA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the history of professional football. Formed in 1979, PFRA members include many of the game's foremost historians and writers.

I remember John Roach as Packer backup QB in 1961-63. When Bart Starr was injured in 1963, Roach replaced him and started the big game in Chicago which the Bears won. Starr came back the next week and Vince Lombardi settled on Zeke Bratkowski as Bart Starr's backup.
Irv Cross, former cornerback with the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams, later longtime sportscaster with CBS Sports died on February 28, at the age of 81:
