Derrick Jensen, a RB/TE and special teams captain for the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders from 1978-1986, died yesterday April 7th in Florida of ALS. He was 60 years old. Jensesn scored the first TD of Super Bowl XVIII when he blocked a Redskins' punt and recovered it in the endzone.

oh my goodness. What a sad, tragic end to his life. He was a very good football player during his short career.

Former Redskins and Packers TE Bill Anderson, who played from 1958-1966, died yesterady April 18th. He was 80 years old.

Former Bears HB Eddie Macon died April 19th, aged 90.
Recognized as the Bears first African-American player, Macon joined the Bears in 1952 as a 2nd round draft pick from the College of the Pacific.
