There was a Buffalo Bills You Tube channel that had a video about what ifs, and one that was discussed dealt with the trading of Jim Kelly.

Now, Kelly was from Western PA, and was a big Steeler fan. He really wanted to play for them.

Also, I think the Raiders were interested in trading for him. If the Bills trade him to one of those two teams, what happens to them and the Bills? Are they even in Buffalo today?

1996 Week 17 and it’s NOT the Morten Andersen FG miss

What if the Colts beat Cincinnati?

This flip flops both AFC Wild Card games (Bills AT Colts, Jaguars at Steelers)

Honestly, I think the Bills and Steelers take those games before losing the next week to the Broncos and Pats.

We end up seeing NE going to Denver to a real cold day (according to Farmer's Almanac). I see the Broncos winning, and going on to win SB 31 over the Packers.

Also, another WI:

In 1987, Doug Williams was almost traded to the Raiders before the season. It would have been interesting to see how that would have turned out.

I don't think anything would have changed. The 5 regular season games he had 2 games that were not very good and 3 that were. He stank in the first 2 playoff games hitting 48 and 35 percent. The Super Bowl, give him credit for hitting the passes but the WRers were open by a mile and the run game holes made by the O line were huge. Just about any QB would have done well in that Super Bowl. The O line was the MVP in that game

I don't think the Redskins make the Super Bowl if Williams isn't there. The team really didn't like Schroeder. We probably see a Vikings-Broncos SB.

What if Greg Cook does not get hurt? Which team drafts 3rd rounder Ken Anderson in 1971?

The Colts? Their last pick in the 3rd round was QB Karl Douglas. The Colts don't trade for Domres either. And don't draft Bert Jones in '73

I wonder if the Colts still take Douglas (a black QB, by the way. That seemed to be taboo back then). I found this on Deadspin:

https://deadspin.com/the-big-book-of-bl ... 517763742/

In the section on Douglas, it was written that he had a really good arm, which was paramount back then. Apparently, what happened is that the new GM (Crazy Joe Thomas) didn't feel that he fit the bill, so he traded for Marty Domres (LOL!!!). Douglas subsequently went to Canada after that.

2002 Week 17

What if the Dolphins don’t blow an 11 point with under 5 minutes to go at New England?
