Good call on Conerly, Chris ...
Lack of accolades, lack of stats or not, Conerly was still necessary for winning NY Giant history. Without his success, there is no way bi-polar coach Vince Lombardi becomes a HC and icon. He lacked great weapons as well, though Gifford became one. His offensive lineman, Rosey Brown, had more speed and quickness than any runner or receiver in their starting lineup ... with due respect to Webster and Zero26 ...

I enjoyed the draft - definitely put some players on my radar who weren't before.
Did anyone count non-HOVG players? Christensen for sure, I will check this later.

Christensen was picked ... This should be his year for HOVG for sure. Latone was picked too.

Perry and Tasker couldn't be in the HOVG, at least if I've got my years lined up correctly. Both of them last played in 1997, so they just entered the Senior pool. They won't be eligible for the HOVG until either this current year, or next yearBrian wolf wrote:Michael Dean Perry and Steve Tasker
