Editing articles for the PRFA book on the '51 Rams, I see that they played the 49ers in back-to-back regular season games that year.

On Sunday, October 28th, the travelled to San Francisco, losing to the 49ers 44-17.

The following Sunday (November 4th), the Rams avenged the loss with a 23-16 win, including three FGs, a one-yard touchdown run, a 76-yard touchdown pass to Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch and two XPs by Bob Waterfield.
