The Jets throwback logo and uni's sell pretty well. Reading the tea leaves I would think an updated 80's uniform is what's in store for us.
The switch to an updated version of the old look was welcomed by me in 1998. A few years later, the shoulder loops got smaller and were rendered non-effective. It wasn't as awful a look as the Colts (see Austin Collie's uniform for the most egregious example) but it was not good. I no longer liked the look and thought a uniform change was necessary.

A lot of activity in the shoulder/armpit/arms area is not good anymore in this new era of smaller, skin-tight jerseys.

I like how the 1980s Jets jerseys had huge TV numbers. If they return to that and, of course, have them on top of the shoulder pads, it would be nice. If they go back to using the old logo with a jet on top of the word "Jets", then they should italicize the jersey numbers with the same font. Based on the team name alone, the Jets are the team that best fits with having italicized numbers. While I am at it, the Steelers should go back to the basic block style numbers.
Totally agree. I hate how it looks on Arizona and Tennessee and Cinci. Totally unnecessary. Makes it look cheap and ugly

Miami's new uniforms are okay. I like the return to the original style. Actually, that's my favorite of theirs.

Jacksonville's are more plain, I agree. They are a relatively newer franchise, so I think if they stuck with their more "wild" look, it would be appropriate... especially the gold color rush uniform.

Not a fan of the Titans' new uniforms. Just don't like them compared to the previous version.

I liked the Broncos orange color rush uniform. It is one of my favorites of the Color Rush. I think if they go to an alternate, why not go back to the yellow and brown?

With the vertically striped mustard and brown socks, why not? Few things strike fear into an opponent than more than to face a lineman filled with rage over having to wear vertically striped socks.

...or they'd have a competitive edge because their opponent would be laughing so hysterically.

Something that many don't remember is that in 2009 when they brought back those unis, they also had two jerseys with the vertical-striped brown socks to match (the yellow and the white).

@Te'O - Yes you are correct. The original 8 AFL franchises wore throwback uniforms for multiple games during the season:

For an alternate, I'm not sure Denver has lots of options, if they keep orange as the primary jersey, other than navy blue. Unless they keep orange but tweak the design. Any thoughts?

The new blue Titans helmet IMO will get old rather quick if it hasn’t already. The new number font unnecessary as well. They should simply have stuck with their original ’99 unis that they won the AFCC with.

Yes, Steelers ought to go right on back to the exact block number unis they had from the ’70s all the way up through Bettis’s 1996 rookie year. I never welcomed that new skinnier font even when it first arrived that ’97 pre-season (no such ‘nice change of pace’ initial attitude). And I really didn’t like that brief names on white jerseys in black letters phase either.

Yes, watching a little of the Titans/Steelers game at the moment.

Almost totally off-topic, but those MLB uniforms last night were godawful.

I like most of them. Should only be a total of 46 games per year (I guess 47 this year due a double header today).

46 being the Sunday night game in Williamsport and then every team wearing them for the following weekend sets.
