This statement I definitely agree with. Although still well above Fletcher.Thomas always seemed closer to London Fletcher than Urlacher and Lewis.

Re: HoF semifinalist list released
whats keeping zach thomas from getting to the semifinalist list
Re: HoF semifinalist list released
Probably not enough signature moments that were chronicled by NFL Films so that people can easily remember. Which is ridiculous, but Thomas was never a rah rah guy like Ray Lewis. Also, someone like Lewis also has the Super Bowl to go along with his bravado. Urlacher at least has the Super Bowl appearance and was seen as the defensive leader of that team. Jason Taylor was the most notable personality on the Dolphins and it seemed like Thomas, Madison, and Surtain were just the other pieces of the puzzle.rewing84 wrote:whats keeping zach thomas from getting to the semifinalist list

Lewis - 118
Urlacher - 104
Thomas - 93
Fletcher - 70
Mills - 51.5
Now that's just one number, but agree it's better than total tackles. The ranking here however, does line up to the eyeball test though I'd put Mills over Fletcher.
