You have to correct this list, as Brown and Strahan are already inducted in Canton, and Mecklenburg and Wisniewski are not Seniors yet.

Teo's right about Strahan and Brown (both in) and Mecklenburg and Wisniewski (not eligible yet). Not at all in favor of Morrall, Hart, or Riley, and not convinced Nobis or Gabriel are among top 15 Senior snubs.

Thanks for pointing me out on that!!
Totally my bad on Strahan & Brown... I should have known that.....DOH!!!!!
Wisniewski & Mecklenburg will hopefully be heading there when their time comes.

Tommy Nobis was a hard hitter and was well respected and wound up being drafted by a newly formed franchise, which was basically an awful team with bad management. I think he was every bit as good as Harry Carson, Les Ritcher and Nick Buoniconti, all of which are great players and well-deserving of their HOF enshrinement!! I am sticking to Tommy as my top pick.

When I think of QB's of the 60's, I think of Namath, Jurgenson, Unitas, Gabriel & Lamonica as the Top 5 of that era. I think Gabriel and Lamonica are far more deserving than Bob Griese.

Hart was a rugged, hard nosed QB and his longevity speaks volumes - being with the Cards in span of 3 decades is pretty impressive. I remember his retirement speech and would have bet he was headed to Canton - but I totally get why he would be a questionable entry.

I just got done reading Early Morrall's book, "Comeback Quarterback", so that is most likely why I have him on my list. Had he seen Jimmy Orr all alone in Super Bowl III, then he would be a no-brainer inductee. That was the equivalent of Jackie Smith dropping Staubach's perfect pass in the bread basket in Super Bowl XIII.

Ken Riley had some good years, and grinded it out for over a dozen years with the Bengals. He was a defensive threat. I think he is every bit as deserving as Roger Wehrli.

Here is my revised list...

Top 15 :
1) Tommy Nobis
2) Lemar Parrish
3) Roman Gabriel
4) Dick Stanfel
5) Earl Morrall
6) Jim Hart
7) Billy Howton
8) Joe Klecko
9) Ken Anderson
10) Pete Retzlaff
11) Ken Riley
12) Nate Newton
13) Daryle Lamonica
14) Russ Grimm
15) Ken Stabler
