Canadian Football Hall of Famer DT Angelo Mosca, who played 15 seasons in the CFL between 1958 and 1972 for Ottawa, Montreal and Hamilton, died November 6 in Hamilton. He was 84 years old. Mosca, a Massachusetts native, was selected by the Eagles in the 30th round of the 1959 NFL Draft, but he stayed in Canada.

I remember as a child watching "The Violent World of Sam Huff" on Walter Cronkite's CBS show The Twentieth Century. Sam Huff was the most publicized defensive player (made the cover of Time magazine in 1959) of late 50s and early 60s. When the Giants played the Browns, news stories played up "the man to man battle between Sam Huff and Jimmy Brown."
