Former Saints, Jets, and Vikings defensive lineman Barry Bennett and his wife were apparently murdered by their son in their rural Minnesota home.

Former LB Dick Woodard has died at the age of 93. He began his career in the AAFC, but also played for the Giants and Redskins:

Rick Morabito, son of 49ers co-founder Vic Morabito, died on Wednesday. He served in the 49ers front office for 10 years:
