Thanks for the info, Hickerson66 ...

I really dont know why Ebetts simply cant do a new player jersey by request?
Expensive as they are, my thinking is that players have to authorize their name/number usage, which I figured was why I couldnt get them to simply change a 1965 #32 jersey(Brown) into a #42 Warfield jersey? I really cant complain about the site because I have wonderful jerseys but some teams simply had too many jerseys, like the Packers, Steelers and Giants. Then, rather than adding at least new 60s jerseys of newer players, they just added alternate colors of players in stock like Starr, Namath, etc.

I hear that since EFF was bought by Fanatics, the quality and customer service has went more downhill.

I have always liked the Mitchell+Ness jerseys and try to find the best ones on EBay but the more rare ones are very expensive. Sometimes, you can even find a well maintained vintage collection jersey from Champion from the early 90s.

Currently, I have gone to another site called RoyalRetros that promises to do as close to a custom throwback as possible, though they may not have certain NFL licences. The jerseys are only 100 bucks apiece and they do have licences for certain AAFC teams and AFL teams that went defunct. I am currently getting them to design me an #88 Chris Burford Dallas Texans jersey and they even asked for photos of the player jersey, as I asked for more enlarged numbers, similar to Ebetts and M+N. If they are successful, I will try for Warfield next. Sorry to ramble ...
