In a way, it has to be considered the best because unlike Brown, Simpson, Dickerson and Davis, Barkley did it with new teammates and a new offensive line, with no previous experience or working together. Like Henry in Baltimore as well, Barkley proved that a veteran running back still had value as a player, rather than the player's age. Henry did everything at 31 years old, which is amazing considering his high volume carries in recent years.

Another interesting thing about Barkley ... yes, he ran for more rushing yardage ever in a combined regular and postseason but many forget what happened in the WC game against GB -- with a minute to go and the game decided, he broke away for what could have been about a 75 yrd TD run but he slid after 15 yrds to end the game. Talk about a season!
