I did not realize the Cowboys released both Dave Grayson and Ernie Kellerman in the early 1960s. They could have used them in their defensive backfield.

My understanding is he was the Rams' first-round draft pick in 1952 before playing some in Canada. He did not want to play on Sundays and went into the Ministry.
