The 1991 Saints started 9-1 before losing four straight games (@SD, ATL, @SF, @DAL). Then, in Week 16, they faced the Raiders at home (on MNF) in a key game for both teams. They righted the ship against the Raiders and Cardinals to wrap up the division before losing to Atlanta in the WC game.

1985 Rams were 7-0 and ended 11-5,
but did rebound and managed to win division
1988 not as pronounced---began 7-2 then lost 4 straight
to go 7-6, then closed out with three wins
1989 5-0 start, fell to 5-4 then went on win streak--
