You know John, if 1970s or 80s Raquel Welch was by my side, I would cook for the both of us ... even if it was Dinty Moore out of a can, my all-time favorite bachelor food ...

Now fellow H.o.F. FS Cliff Harris made much the same remark in "The Super '70s" by Tom Danyluk about Paul Krause playing deep (Cliff Harris said: "Which is fine, but I wanted to be where the action is" or words to that effect).Citizen wrote:"He never shied away from physical contact"? That's a laugh. Krause was notoriously allergic to it. One of his own coaches, Buddy Ryan, said Krause would play so deep that he would sometimes disappear from game film. As one sportswriter of the era put it, "Krause again led the league last year in showing up at the pile after the tackle."

The Vikings pass defense was airtight during Krause’s time there and we’re going to criticize a free safety’s tackling. Please…

Did Dawson say this before or after Krause intercepted him in Super Bowl IV? My recollection is that it was long after (he didn't mention Paul Krause by name when he commented on the Vikings' secondary).Bryan wrote:Did Dawson say this before or after Krause intercepted him in Super Bowl IV?
