I write to tip my hat to such fantastic research. Thank you for sharing. Before he went astray, number 56 was a player for the Dallas Cowboys.

Also, it did make for a great scene in Black Sunday.

Make that three-way with he staying on special-teams! Plenty of offense positions you could have plugged him into! Or at least a utility-guy on that side of the ball just as 'the Rock' was on the defensive side of the ball when at the U.

Correct me if wrong, but I believe Landry said that he regretted not handling him better; feels Dallas would have won a few more SBs later on. He still a Cowboy, and at his best, in the '80 and '81 NFCCG's? Would have to like Big D's chances.
