Happy Birthday to the PFRA!

Interesting stories by all above, thanks for sharing these excellent memories.

I've only been a member for 4 years, but I have enjoyed every moment of it. I'm so appreciative of the wealth of knowledge and wisdom of all the members and for the stimulating and fascinating discussions on this board. I'm also grateful for the opportunities the organization has offered, to become a committee member, to contribute and participate in the book projects, writing and research assignments, etc. My goal is to one day become a football historian. I feel membership here is going to help get me there!

Thanks to everyone for what do you for the PFRA. Please continue to make this a wonderful asset to football history.

Happy birthday! I found the PFRA Forum nearly by accident: In 2009 I was searching info about former Redskin LB Chris Hanburger and why he wasn't already inducted into the PFHOF, so I came into the Forum and I was amazed at the knowledge of all the users. I joined the Forum shortly before Mr. Carroll passed away, and after posting and commenting and asking questions, I was contacted by Ken Crippen to chair the Officials Commitee (he asked me after posting the obit to Bruce Alford Sr. in 2010, a former end with the AAFC New York Yankees and the NFL New York Yanks from 1946 to 1951, who also from 1960-1979 was one of the top line judges in the NFL). As a Mexican, I didn't knew at first that I could join the PFRA, but fortunately I coulsd, and I had the privilege to assist to three PFRA Meetings (2012 in NFL Films, 2014 in Cleveland and 2016 in Green Bay). Last year, due to health issues, I couldn0't joined you in Buffalo, but hopefuilly I can make the trip to Canton next year.
