No. The head coach seems to be like an offensive version of Rex Ryan. The quarterback is weird and brash. I still don't get his problem with Hue Jackson. Baker Mayfield is a very bizarre man. The wide receiver is even more ridiculous. This team has a better chance of being a dumpster fire than the team of the decade.

The thing that worries me about the 2019 Browns is that they fired Gregg Williams after they went 5-3 with him as an interim Head Coach after Hue Jackson was shown the door at midseason. I think there is more to the story than we were told, but I would have been happier staying with Williams as the HC going into 2019. Kitchens is 44 years old and before joining the Browns staff in 2018 he spent 11 seasons as an offensive coach with the Cardinals, so he is not one of those hot trendy coaching picks like a Sean McVay prototype or somebody who was a coordinator whose team went to the Super Bowl the previous season; he came to the Browns as the Running Backs Coach in 2018. With the new veteran talent they have on hand going into 2019, and Baker Mayfield beginning to come into his own, I think I would much rather have a veteran coach at the helm.

Yep, a lot of success is coaching and team chemistry. Cleveland has a lot of big heads in the locker room. How will they respond to losing or adversity? Can Kinchens pull them all together? Much like the Ravens no longer have Joe Flacco (veteran experience), Terrell Suggs, and CJ Mosely. I agree Baltimore is not going to just "give up". I count them to still be strong and a contender.

The AFC North will be very interesting this fall. Each divisional game could really be a true struggle.

If we're looking at powers to be in the AFC I'd think Kansas City and perhaps Indianapolis might be more in keeping with reality.

I especially agree with you about Indianapolis. They have a better QB than Cleveland has, and their GM is doing some good things there.

Also (I really, really, really hate to say this), you can't count out NE as long as Belichick and Robert Kraft are there (I don't see Belichick retiring in the near future). Brady may have another two years left, but the upcoming draft has five QB's that could go in Round 1 (Tua, Justin Herbert, Jake Fromm, Jacob Eason, and Stanford's K.J. Costello. I don't see Jarrett Stidham being their future starter).

In the NFC, a team to watch for the next decade may be the 49ers (with Jimmy G and Kyle Shanahan). Also, I think the Eagles can remain contenders for years if Wentz stays healthy.

I'm not too high on Wentz even though he has won games in the regular season because he has never started a playoff game (yet). All the Eagles' run the last two seasons was a la Nick Foles.
