Thanks Bob - that helps a lot. I'm currently reading a 2018 Gus Dorais bio and it got me thinking about early QBs again plus all the Brady discussions. I've seen Graham mentioned a few times in those, but not so much Baugh or Friedman and certainly not Mahrt or Dorais.

What Nesser was doing in 1930, I don't know, but I expect he was playing somewhere.

He played and started three games at right guard for the Canton Rogers Jewelers in 1930.
