Strongest/weakest group of playoff teams in a given season

1970 AFC was a weak group. Bengals start off 1-6 and somehow make it in. Dolphins also have big winning streak to get in, 10-4, but not a complete team yet and I don't think Shula could overcome weaknesses in the playoffs. The Colts were 11-2-1 but with a weak schedule and some obvious holes. Raiders had the MVP in Blanda but it took Ben Davidson spearing Len Dawson, another Raider "misadventure" that caused a rule change (applying penalties after the play has ended which it clearly had) for them to get into the playoffs; at 8-4-2 they had weakened from their 1967-69 run. Chiefs, Browns, Oilers, Jets all big disappointments.
