Beat me to it, Todd! Don't know who the All-American is though.

I got one...a November game with two future-HOF QBs dueling against each other. Each throw for two TDs; and catching one of those TDs is also a future-HOFer. The losing HC was a National Champion HC in the college ranks. As for the team that beat his team this very game, their HC the year before was also a National Champ in the college ranks. Had he been onboard it would have been the only time these two would have ever squared off as HCs, college or pros.

Here's another one...also in November. Three of the game's four quarters were scoreless. The game was between two teams that, at the time, haven't made the post-season in a combined 25 years. The winner of this game would not only snap a 5-game losing-streak to this very team they beat, but this victory would start a 5-game win-streak against them. In addition to both these teams - at the time of this game - suffering that combined 25 year playoff drought, neither would make the playoffs in this very season either. However, each would make it to the playoffs the following year as well as play against each other, yet again, in November while also meeting each other that very post-season!

You must be talking about the 49ers' 12-0 win over the Giants in 1980.

Yep! I actually remember watching a bit of it on a boring dreary early Sunday evening asking myself why the game was even on TV and having not a clue these would be two of the better NFL clubs the next 10 years.

Also from 1980. The Browns' 34-27 win over the Bucs. Calvin Hill was the former ROTY with the two TD catches.
